About Professional Resources Services

PRS is a publisher and service provider organisation founded initially as a registered business in the State of Victoria in 1992. It is now incorporated (1996) as a company [ACN 075 759 483, ABN 75 075 759 483] with Limited Liability. It operates from an office in Gruyere with a postal address at Coldstream.

PRS applies its publishing expertise to books and other documents for various clients. It conducts psychometric research and development to adapt overseas materials to Australian conditions or to create new publications for the helping professions.

PRS provides expert support services to professional associations in Australia including membership records, book-keeping, publishing (electronic and traditional) and mailings. It also delivers professional conference management services for conferences which are held in various places within Australia and occasionally overseas.

PRS charges on invoice for the services it provides. Invoices are sent to the Treasurer of a client Association for approval and settlement. Invoices describe outgoings on stationery, printing, postage and similar and require payment for these expenditures made on behalf of the Association. Also on invoice is a charge for the provision of the services such as membership database maintenance and book-keeping, conference management and other services.
